Styling: Retro Flower & Fruit Picknick Girl

At the beginning of this summer we did a photo-shoot in a little beautiful orchard with 4 different variations on the retro-summer-look.

I made the flower crown myself, I was inspired by the flowerprint of the dress and wild cornfields with poppies.

 I used different kinds of fresh wheat to weave the crown, artificial flowers and ribbon.

For the make-up we chose sun kissed skin with bronze powder, poppy-red accent on the lips & nails and the eyes in the natural colortones of wheat.

I bought hairextensions to have more volume to make the braid.

Total Look: My inner feline

I never tought I would wear a leopard-print. But I find this dress so cute! You see, never say never! Also having 3 cats, must be I was a feline in a past life :)

I styled the whole look fifties pin up, that is the look that works for me the best!

The inspiration came directly from the clothing I bought, the delicate colours and materials reminded me of magnolia-flowers.

     I wanted to bring back that romantic, dreamy, fragile flower into the pictures.

Total Look & Happy Shopping: Steps Special Dresses Night spring summer 2011

This time the Special Dresses Night was also in the  Belgian shops, so I went to the shop in Leuven. Of course I'm wearing something from Steps! :)

With a romantic roses-print on the tunic, I've chosen to toughen it up with a (fake)leather jacket in the same grey of the belt and trim of the tunic.  Also leggings,shoes and bag in grey-shades to keep the focus on the roses!
